Broad Band 4I £46,075 per annum, plus benefits

Part/Full Time Full Time - All roles are available for flexible working including job sharing and part-time unless there are legitimate operational / business reasons why this cannot be accommodated

SEROCU is pleased to invite applications for the role of Intelligence Analyst within the Threat and Performance Department. This position plays a critical role in supporting decision-making and the prioritisation of resources and specialist tactics to disrupt Serious and Organised Crime (SOC).

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the analytical capability across SEROCU, while also working collaboratively within the wider Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Analyst Network.

As an Intelligence Analyst, you will apply recognised analytical techniques to develop high-quality intelligence products that inform both strategic and tactical planning in the fight against serious and organised crime.

You will work with multiple information sources to assess both known and emerging threats as outlined in the South East Control Strategy, supporting evidence-based recommendations that enhance law enforcement responses, including detection, prevention, targeting, and disruption activities.

Specialist Focus: Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation remains a significant and complex threat across England and Wales. In this role, you will:

* Contribute to improving law enforcement’s understanding of the scale and nature of CSAE
* Provide analytical insight to inform the national response to CSAE
* Support the development of accurate, data-driven intelligence for policing partners

Please note: This role will require exposure to material related to Child Sexual Abuse as part of analytical duties. Appropriate support will be in place.

The Regional Organised Threat Assessment (ROCTA) team offers a comprehensive induction, mentoring and training package for all new starters irrespective of experience. We welcome applications from people with an analytical mind-set or have analytical experience from various industry areas who have a proven ability to problem solve and deliver and communicate results effectively. If you are keen to explore a new challenge, apply your analytical skills into an exciting role, and make a tangible difference through your work we look forward to receiving your application.

Please note that this role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you may be required to travel for business purposes mainly across the south east region and occasionally throughout the UK. Therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home. For this reason a full UK Driving Licence is essential to the role. You will also be required to perform on-call arrangements for immediate response as required across the South East region

Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level SC together with a number of enhanced security checks. In order to achieve this, you must have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions may apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.

You can find more information about security vetting here .
