Your Responsibilities as a Complex Care Worker
In this vital health and social care role, you will be responsible for providing sophisticated clinical care and daily support. Your key duties will include:
Responsibilities
* Delivering high-quality complex clinical care, including:
o PEG Feeding and management
o Tracheostomy Care
* Ventilator and BiPAP Management
* Spinal Injury Support
* Cough Assist and Oxygen Therapy
* Supporting clients with daily living skills to promote independence and well-being
* Maintaining accurate digital care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports
* Working collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) to ensure consistent, safe and effective care
Essential Requirements for this Care Job
To be successful in this support worker role, you will need:
* A minimum of 12 months' experience in a Complex Care role (with adults or children)
* Proven competency in clinical skills such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and ventilator management
* Confidence in using digital care planning systems
* Excellent communication skills and a calm, resilient and professional attitude
* A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Desirable Qualifications
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults or Children)
* Current First Aid training
