We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Procurement team at Greggs as Packaging Purchasing Manager.
You will be responsible for managing packaging procurement activities that directly support our retail operations. This includes ownership of packaging listings, pricing, supplier engagement, PIR management, and compliance with procurement and delegated authority processes.
The role ensures data integrity, operational continuity and commercial performance across all packaging categories

About the role
17. This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

About you
You will fit right into this role if you
21. Are experienced in sourcing packaging ideally in Foodservice and/or Retail
22. Can demonstrate experience in negotiation ideally with a CIPS qualification
23. Can demonstrate excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
24. Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
25. Have a track record of forming and strengthening trusted relationships with business stakeholders and a proven ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively
26. Have excellent written & verbal communication skills and the ability to present ideas and opportunities (including using known presentational tools)
27. Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
28. Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
