Overview
Yoxford and Peasenhall School have an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced, dedicated, friendly and professional Teaching Assistant who can work effectively with children with special educational needs and challenging behaviours. You will deliver a nurture-based style intervention provision for a small number of children daily, working alongside the class teacher. You will also help embed a breakfast and after school provision.
Responsibilities
* Deliver nurture-based intervention provision for children with special educational needs and challenging behaviours, in collaboration with the class teacher.
* Support a range of pupil abilities with SEND and assist in assessments as required.
* Contribute to safeguarding and follow school policies and GDPR guidelines.
* Support good behaviour management and implement a range of strategies as needed.
* Participate in school and trust CPD opportunities.
* Assist with breakfast and after-school provision as part of the role.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Grade C / 4+ level Numeracy and Literacy
* Basic computer literacy
Desirable:
* Relevant HLTA qualification, TA qualification or relevant experience

* Hours: 8.15am – 3.30pm, with half an hour unpaid lunch
* Salary: £12.60 - £14.07 per hour, depending on experience
* Contract: Permanent, required as soon as possible
