The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has opened within the Software Quality Assurance team for a Process Assurance Engineer to develop process-centric quality assurance skills. The successful candidate will support engineering teams on a variety of high-technology Defence programmes, ensuring software is developed and delivered to the highest quality standards.

Salary: Circa £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
Location: Bristol / Stevenage (Relocation package may be available)
Dynamic (Hybrid) Working: 2–4 days per week on-site, based on workload classification

What We’re Looking For:
This role is focused on software quality assurance through adherence to process and standards. The ideal candidate will have:
An understanding or background in full life-cycle software development and quality assurance in a process-based environment (however, candidates from varied industries are welcome to apply).
Knowledge of software processes and relevant national/international standards and assurance requirements.
The ability to build strong, effective relationships across project and engineering teams.
A collaborative, objective mindset with the confidence to influence improvements and change when necessary.
Experience leading Project Quality Assessments, identifying risks, and contributing to monthly quality reporting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to unexpected challenges.
A proactive, independent working style that complements functional and integrated team settings.
Ideally, a degree in Engineering or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu).
Familiarity with configuration management, documentation systems, and requirements management tools is highly desirable.
