Fleet Compliance Manager – Bagworth
Salary - £48000-£54500
Are you passionate about keeping fleets safe, compliant, and running at their best? We’re looking for an experienced Fleet Compliance Manager to take the lead in ensuring that our HGVs and trailers meet the highest standards across multiple sites.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for all things compliance, working closely with operations, fleet services, and senior leadership to make sure our vehicles are road-ready, audits are passed with flying colours, and targets are consistently achieved. You’ll have the autonomy to make key decisions and drive improvements that really make a difference.
What you’ll be doing:
* Taking ownership of compliance for HGVs and trailers across several locations
* Managing MOTs, audits, and defect reporting to ensure full adherence to regulations
* Reducing vehicle off-road (VOR) time through proactive planning and oversight
* Partnering with operations and fleet teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively
* Providing insight and recommendations to leadership, shaping compliance strategy
* Driving performance to hit and exceed agreed compliance targets
What we’re looking for:
* Strong knowledge of fleet compliance and regulations, ideally with HGV exposure
* Experience in managing audits, MOTs, and defect processes
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
* Confidence in decision-making and a proactive approach to problem solving
* A track record of achieving targets and driving continuous improvement
