We have a new opportunity for a Lab Analyst to join our client’s team, a reputable and well-established asbestos consultancy based in Bromley. This role is for late afternoons and evenings only, making it ideal for someone seeking a position that fits around daytime commitments. The client can also offer flexibility with start and finish times.
The role:
* Carry out asbestos identification and bulk sample analysis using polarised light microscopy (PLM).
* Accurately record, interpret, and report analytical results in line with required standards and deadlines.
* Liaise with colleagues, supervisors, and the wider business to maintain an efficient and well-coordinated workflow.
* BOHS P401 qualification or equivalent.
* Previous experience within a UKAS accredited asbestos laboratory.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all analytical work.
* A proactive approach to maintaining standards, safety, and efficiency.
* Strong ability to work independently and manage workload effectively, given the role largely operates outside standard working hours.
