Our client based in Peterborough is currently recruiting for a motivated Sales Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for hire enquiries, managing bookings and providing excellent customer service. You will work closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure equipment hire requests are processed efficiently and accurately. Working Monday - Friday 7.30 AM - 5.30 PM. Key Responsibilities:
* Process hire requests received via phone, email, or in person at the depot.
* Raise quotes for customers and process hire orders promptly.
* Manage general administrative duties, including updating records and maintaining accurate hire documentation.
* Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.
* Support the depot team with day-to-day hire operations as needed.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in hire, rental, or customer service is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
