Overview of role
This role is for a highly ambitious and successful Sustainability Consultancy in the Built Environment sector.
There is an opportunity within their Green Certification Team. You will be part of a team delivering a range of projects focused on refurbishment and fit-outs. Each member acts as a "Project Coordinator" and must be capable of managing multiple deliverables, either directly or in cooperation with the wider team.
Role responsibilities and requirements
* Carrying out BREEAM, SKA, Well / Fitwell assessments on fit-out projects and refurbishments.
* Delivering Net Zero, LCA, and ESG objectives in new build and existing building sectors.
* Project management.
* Developing client relationships, including investors, building managers, and contractors.
* Conducting workshops, training sessions, and presentations.
* Working towards financial objectives and commercial goals.
* Research and analysis.
Key skills and qualities needed
* Licensed BREEAM Assessor and/or SKA Assessor.
* Minimum of 3 years' work experience in BREEAM consultancy.
* An MSc and/or BSc degree.
* Ability to manage and assist with the implementation of sustainability certification schemes such as BREEAM, WELL, SKA, Fitwel, and LEED.
* Experience working on fast-paced fit-out projects.
* Experience collaborating closely with contractors within tight schedules.
* Capable project manager, able to coordinate multiple deliverables per project.
* Good understanding of real estate commercial drivers and their interaction with sustainability.
* Client-facing with excellent communication skills and capable of discussing topics like Net Zero, operational energy, Circularity, and WLC.
* Excellent research and analytical skills.
* Attention to detail and meticulous approach to assessments.
* Understanding of Net Zero Carbon, NABERS, and ESG objectives.
* Experience with planning submissions, particularly in alignment with GLA requirements.
