Job Description
Major Recruitment are looking to recruit a HVAC Operative (Cleaning Specialist) for a client based in Gateshead.
Responsibilities
* Provide a safe, hygienic environment by maintaining high standards of cleanliness as a member of a specialist cleaning team.
* To clean all areas of the facility to a high standard, as laid down in the cleaning schedule and procedures.
* Observe all regulations related to Health & Safety at Work, including COSHH and Eurovent's policy.
* Work to standards outlined in TR/19, BSRIA, and CIBSE to provide a safe working environment for the other team members, customers and the public.
* Attend and complete compulsory training in cleaning methods and in the use of cleaning appliances.
* Display a working knowledge and understanding of our customers’ needs and requirements.
* Maintain effective communication with all levels of staff in working areas.
* Previous experience of cleaning would be an advantage.
* Post holder must be available to work various shift patterns to suit the needs of the business.
* Services include (not limited to):
o Kitchen Deep Cleans – including walls, floors, appliances, ceilings
o Kitchen Extract Systems – including ductwork and fans
o Air Handling Unit maintenance and filter changes
o LEV Systems
Qualifications
* Must be a driver.
* IPAF, PASMA, CSCS card desirable but will provide the training.
