Role and Responsibilities:
1. Support classroom teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons, providing assistance to individual students and small groups as directed.
2. Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources, helping to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
3. Build positive relationships with students, providing encouragement, guidance, and pastoral support as needed.
4. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
5. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other professionals, contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
6. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills in all interactions, promoting positive behaviour and engagement.
Requirements:
7. Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools is essential.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
9. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students are essential qualities.
10. Ability to inspire and engage students through creative and interactive teaching methods.
11. Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service, or willingness to apply for one, is essential.
12. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
