About The Team & Roles
We are looking for finance officers to join our busy systems and management accounting teams at Gloucestershire County Council. These roles offer opportunities to develop your experience. The successful candidates will be willing to learn, work effectively both individually and as part of a team, and possess strong IT and communication skills.
Management Accounting Post
This role involves providing financial support to budget holders, assisting and challenging managers within our financial procedures. Candidates should have experience in variance analysis, forecasting, financial modelling, and planning.
Systems Accounting Post
This role involves working on finance systems maintenance, BACS payments, Treasury, and managing corporate business cards. Responsibilities include journal preparation, report production, and supporting various projects.

About You
You should be studying for an AAT qualification or hold a finance degree. Full training support for CIPFA qualification is provided.
