STADA UK Thornton & Ross - Senior Analyst (Lab Services)
Huddersfield | United Kingdom (GB) | Full-time | Permanent
As a Senior Analyst – Lab Services, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our laboratory functions. You’ll be hands-on with analytical instruments, lead by example in quality and compliance, and contribute to method development and team performance.
How You Will Make An Impact
* Ensure laboratory instruments are properly maintained, calibrated, and qualified for use.
* Conduct GC and GCMS analyses on a wide range of samples.
* Assist in the development and validation of HPLC and GC methods for raw materials and finished products.
* Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
* Follow all safety and compliance guidelines, including GMP, ISO standards, and the Orange Guide.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize lab performance and reliability.
* Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and team objectives.
* Provide regular updates and collaborate closely with colleagues to drive results.
* Flexibly support additional lab tasks as required.
What We Are Looking For
* A degree in Chemistry, Analytical Science, or a related scientific field.
* At least 2-3 years of experience in a regulated lab environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
* Expertise in operating and troubleshooting GC, GCMS, and HPLC instrumentation.
* Strong understanding of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Orange Guide).
* Experience in method development and analytical validation.
* Meticulous attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
