Bringing it to the role. A unique opportunity has arisen as a Designer; to support the creative restaurant design and restaurant design approval process. A key part of the role will be providing creative design assistance to our Senior Creative Lead such as creative ideas, design and design development information as well as running design and drawing approval for the current remodel and new restaurants program. This is a 12 month Maternity Cover. What you'll do Being the "Brand Guardian" and upholding standards for all new and remodelled restaurants. You will review and layouts for about 100 minor remodels, up to 75 major remodels and 40 new restaurants each year Liaise with internal Construction Managers, External Architects and Franchisees to solve challenges on restaurant design. Occasionally attend site meetings to brief and evaluate projects. Occasionally lead other ad hoc Design projects i.e. bespoke restaurant décor Provide general creative support to the Senior Creative Lead on Design Projects i.e. creation of new restaurant design concepts, new formats etc To manage storage and retrieval of drawings, photographs and other data relevant to store development Support the creation, distribution and maintenance of Design Guidance. You are a seasoned insights leader with a proven track-record in developing a centralised insights team You have a passion for people and a curiosity to uncover real human insights. You have experience working with research and insights agencies. You are well-versed in assessing methodologies and defining the right approach based on a business question. You can utilise existing methodologies and tools and continuously expand your understanding and experience of new ones. You can assess and understand a multitude of factors, both internal and external, macro and micro, across multiple regions, channels and categories that impact brand performance. You have the ability to intuitively analyse multifaceted data from various sources. You have a growth mindset - you'll be connecting the dots in fresh ways to make amazing things happen. You are not afraid to stretch boundaries and think outside of the box to get results. The industry is constantly changing, we need a pioneer to help cement KFC's leadership as the go-to-brand for your fried chicken. We're looking for a team player who embraces the company culture, gets involved with the various initiatives Excellent communication and negotiation skills EXERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Design/ Architecture (essential) Experience in a similar role, working with Autodesk drawing package (Autocad 2020) (Essential) & Visualising in 3DS MAX or Sketchup Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Photoshop (Essential) and InDesign/Illustrator (Preferred) Proven experience in design, space planning, retail and equipment layouts Proven experience in taking concept designs through to delivery on site Experience in a national multi-unit retail environment Be Original.
