Job Title: Quality Support Technician
Location: Warwick
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 - 13:00
Are you detail-driven and passionate about quality? Join our automotive client as a Quality Support Technician and play a vital role in ensuring supplier quality and supporting production excellence. You'll be the first point of contact for supplier-related issues, helping to contain defects, support new product introductions, and maintain high standards across the board.
What You'll Do:
Act as the link between manufacturing and Supplier Quality Engineers
Manage supplier defects and implement containment actions
Support new product introductions and first article inspections
Maintain the quarantine area and corrective action database
Produce weekly and monthly quality performance reports
Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards
What You'll Need:
Experience in a manufacturing or quality environment
Knowledge of corrective action methods (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys)
Ability to read engineering drawings and use measurement tools
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally
