Hours: 4 days on, sleep nights, followed by 6 days off (365 rota)
Pay rate: £41,751 to £46,197 per annum, with opportunities for overtime at an enhanced rate
What we are looking for:
Moorland Cottage is an Ofsted-registered children's home providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic support. Our 12-week placements offer young people security, support, and stabilization in a nurturing environment. Each placement includes PACE principles, access to education, and outdoor activities.

*Estimated full-time salary based on a pay rate of £14.15 to £16.05 per hour for days, plus 12 sleep-nights per month at £60 each.
Essential requirements:
* Minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
* Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare or near completion
* Full UK driving licence
* Interest in outdoor and adventure activities
* Right to work in the UK without restrictions
* Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practices
* Training in de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention (e.g., Team Teach, MAPA)
* Therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
* Applicants must be aged 21 or above
