Role Overview
The Commercial Manager plays a pivotal role in the financial management of projects, negotiation of contracts, and analysis of project data. This position involves leading a commercial team, managing supply chain assistants, and providing commercial support to project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a commercial team to manage contracts, risks, and opportunities.
* Manage day-to-day activities of supply chain assistants under your supervision.
* Provide commercial guidance during procurement phases.
* Negotiate and agree contracts to maximize operational performance.
* Manage contract final account agreements for closure.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Business Studies, Commercial Management, Economics, or related field.
* Commercial management qualifications (e.g., ICM, CCM).
* Chartership status through recognized international bodies.
* Experience working with NEC3 and FIDIC contracts.
* Expertise in procurement, risk management, and claim management.
