Job Summary:
In line with company strategy and the overarching goals set by the Operations Director & Manager, you would provide support and structure to the daily operations of our supply chain.
How you will make a difference...
* Pick, palletise and organise products correctly ready for transport ensuring they are packed securely in order to reduce damage.
* Maintain pick accuracy levels.
* Ensure orders with external delivery companies are loaded safely and securely onto the vehicles and dispatched with all the required documentation ensuring it is completed correctly.
* Unload and check the packaging of all incoming stock deliveries and report any packaging that does not meet the required standard.
* Replenish stock levels within the warehouse.
* Gain and maintain full knowledge of the warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure orders are booked in and out correctly.
* Strictly adhere to health & safety practices, manual handling practices, handling equipment regulations and the correct use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Support the Quality Team as and when required.
* Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping in all areas of the warehouse.
* Actively assist with any additional duties where required and as required by the team leader / Operations Manager.
What you will need to succeed in your role...
* FLT Licence is desirable
* Flexibility and adaptability to different roles within the warehouse.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Reliability.
* A 'can do' attitude.
* A sound understanding of customer satisfaction, expectations and needs.
