1. Undertake scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing
2. Carry out corrective maintenance; fault finding, troubleshooting and repair on all solar PV systems which will include mechanical and electrical diagnosis on Power Inverters
3. Proactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime ensuring the highest level of Solar Plant availability
4. Provide out of hours and weekend response
5. Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements
6. Assist in providing solutions to the Technical Manager
7. Conduct training lessons to enhance other employee’s technical knowledge
8. Report all maintenance works carried out using computer based service reporting procedures
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
9. Service Engineer with Solar PV background
10. Troubleshooting and Fault Finding experience
11. Knowledge of Power Inverters
12. Computer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, email, management and reporting systems, including the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools
13. Willing to work overtime on weekends, bank holidays and on short notice.
14. Valid UK driver’s license and acceptable driving record
