Job Responsibilities
1. Ensure equipment and facility systems operate safely and reliably to minimise downtime.
2. Carry out preventive maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns and optimise equipment performance.
3. Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and carry out corrective maintenance to restore operations efficiently.
4. Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical issues with minimal disruption.
5. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment efficiency and safety standards.
6. Maintain compliance with all safety, health, and operational standards and procedures.
7. Attend to machine breakdowns and perform planned maintenance activities as scheduled.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8. NVQ Level 3 or ONC qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
9. Proven experience in mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
10. Strong electrical systems knowledge, including motors, circuits, and sensors.
11. Basic understanding of PLCs and control systems.
12. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
13. High safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures and protocols.
14. Preventive and corrective maintenance skills with a proactive approach to equipment care.
15. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Shift: 3 shift rotation team. 6am-12pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am (Monday - Thursday)
6am - 12pm / 12pm - 6pm / 6pm - Midnight (Friday)
Pay rate: £22.84 p/h
