A Part-Time, Permanent Social Worker with empathy and the drive to make a difference — finding creative ways to support people to achieve what they want to and live as independently as possible in a place they call their home.
We need a Social Worker to work across East Lancashire as part of our Learning Disability and Autism Service within Adult Social Care. The office base for this role is currently located within Clitheroe.

Your priority as a Community Social Worker, will be to support adults with learning disabilities and/or autism through strength-based assessments, outcome-focused planning, and safeguarding. You will work collaboratively across agencies to promote independence, inclusion, and access to meaningful opportunities in the community. As a Qualified Social Worker you will be expected to manage a caseload, prioritise effectively, contribute to service development, and participate in the duty system.

Social Work applicants must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with SWE.
