Group Growth Marketing Lead

Job reference: NWT-MAR-001298

Salary: Competitive Salary & Contractual Contributory Pension

Employment type: Permanent

Location: Trafford Park, Manchester

BHID Group is the UK’s leading fitted furniture company with more than 30 years’ experience in creating bespoke luxury interiors. BHID Group comprises three market‑leading brands: Neville Johnson, Tom Howley Kitchens and The London Door Company. Following continued successful growth, we are seeking to recruit a Group Growth Marketing Lead who will work from our Trafford Park offices in Manchester (Hybrid role with travel as required). The Group Growth Marketing Lead will take end‑to‑end ownership of digital acquisition and performance across the Group, driving profitable, scalable growth by connecting paid media, SEO and conversion rate optimisation into a single, joined‑up growth strategy. The role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on performance oversight. You will manage and align multiple specialist agencies to ensure acquisition activity is efficient, insight‑led and focused on commercial outcomes. The role suits a commercially minded marketer with a strong background in PPC management who thrives on accountability, experimentation and turning data into meaningful business impact.

Key Responsibilities

* Own the end‑to‑end growth and acquisition strategy across PPC, paid social, SEO and CRO, including targets, budgets, forecasting and performance frameworks.
* Lead and manage external PPC and paid social agencies, ensuring activity is commercially focused, well structured and consistently optimised.
* Manage and align the SEO agency, web development agency and internal web developer to deliver a cohesive approach to traffic growth, site performance and conversion.
* Ensure paid media, organic acquisition and on‑site experience are planned and optimised together.
* Monitor daily performance across all acquisition channels, identifying risks and opportunities and taking action to maximise efficiency and return.
* Leverage AI tools and automation to optimise acquisition channels and website performance, improving efficiency, insight and conversion outcomes.
* Work closely with the CRM Lead to align acquisition activity with lead management, nurturing and conversion into qualified opportunities and revenue.
* Define and prioritise CRO opportunities, including testing roadmaps, landing page optimisation and journey improvements to increase conversion rates and lead quality.
* Identify, test and scale new growth opportunities across channels, platforms and formats where appropriate.
* Work closely with the wider marketing team and Creative Manager to ensure acquisition activity is aligned with brand, messaging and campaign priorities.
* Analyse performance data to uncover insights, trends and opportunities, translating findings into clear actions and recommendations.
* Monitor competitor activity, market trends and platform developments, adapting strategy to maintain competitive advantage.
* Compile and deliver clear daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting for senior stakeholders, focused on outcomes not just activity.
* Act as a growth and performance subject matter expert, contributing insight that shapes the Group’s wider marketing and commercial strategy.

Essential Skills

* Proven experience leading digital acquisition, with hands‑on experience managing PPC and exposure to SEO, CRO and UX.
* Strong analytical capability, with confidence working across large data sets, attribution and performance metrics.
* Commercially minded, target focused and motivated by delivering measurable business outcomes.
* Ability to translate complex data into clear insight and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence influencing decision making.

Benefits

* 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising with service).
* Home working up to 2 days per week (subject to change and dependent on role).
* Contributory pension with salary exchange (subject to qualifying).
* BHID Connect – partnership with Reward Gateway to save money on everyday spending at up to 770 retailers.
* Wellbeing centre – exercise videos, mindfulness tools, nutritional and financial advice.
* Employee Assistance Programme – access to 24/7 counselling and support helpline.
* Employee Mortgage Services – partnership with Charles Cameron for mortgage advice and education services.
* C2W – Cycle to Work.
* Length of Service Milestone Rewards.
* Free parking.
* Christmas functions.
* We are constantly reviewing our benefits and have some exciting new initiatives coming soon!
