We have an opportunity for anArchitecturalTechnologistto jointheArc Partnership’s architectural team -an RIBA chartered practice.Working within the Design Team andalongside other multi-disciplinary design and technical teams, the role willdeliver a comprehensive technical service, includingthe preparation ofworking drawing packages, coordinating technical information, and specificationwriting.

Yournew role:

* Responsiblefor the production and co-ordination of technical drawings.
* Delivera range of projects in 2D/3D using Autodesk Revitand work withinstandard BIM. workflow processes such as internal reviews and clashdetection etc.
* Assistin the preparation of drawings through all RIBA Work Stages,
* Leadin the technical architectural design, liaising with other members ofthedesign, technical and client teams, including the review ofincoming third-party information to ensurecoordinated and wellresolved integration of design information.
* Produce,analyse and advise on detailed specifications for suitable materials orprocesses to be used in the production of robust details and associatedspecifications.
* Attendmeetings and site visits as and when required,liaise with internaland outside bodiesincludingcontractors and other disciplinesto provide technical advice, instruction, and reports, to achieve positiveoutcomes.
What you’ll bring:

* AcomprehensiveportfoliodemonstratingofsignificantexperienceworkingasanArchitectural Technologist.
* Knowledgeof current & emerging technical design, construction and environmentalissues, legislative requirements and statutory responsibilities pertainingto the role.
* Degreein Architecture/Architectural Technology or HNC/HND qualification in an architecturalor other relevant construction related field.
* Proficientin, and withdemonstrableworking knowledge of Revit for both 3Dcollaborative design and 2D production information output.
* Excellentorganisational and planning skills with the ability to use own initiativeto plan and manage and prioritise own work programme, projects and otherresources.
* Well-developedinterpersonal skills to work effectively and collaborate with internal andexternal teams and an ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and reconciledifferences.
