Operations Assistant
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 DOE
Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm.
Location: Stone, Staffordshire
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Assistant to assist in the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a logistical mindset. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Operations Assistant will assist in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office while supporting staff and management.
Duties
* Coordinate and oversee the booking of jobs including allocation of appropriate resources.
* Assist with the answering of incoming enquiries and queries from existing customers.
* Handle human resources responsibilities such as onboarding new employees and managing employee records.
* Perform quality control within the office.
* Assist in the development of office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
* Oversee the management of the group's property portfolio, ensuring the group is compliant with landlord related regulations.
* Assist with ensuring compliance with the group's ISO accreditations, Health and Safety regulations and other regulatory bodies (full training will be given).
* Review the group's insurance renewals, ensuring a competitive price if achieved.
* Work closely with the Operations Manager, Head of Operations and Director on company projects.
Experience
The successful candidate will have:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism.
* A background in clerical work, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks undertaken.
