Service Manager - Residential & Supported Living Newcastle £53,000 - £56,000 per annum 40 hours per week We are seeking an experienced and passionate Service Manager to lead a purpose-built 10-bedroom residential care home in Newcastle, providing 24-hour care for individuals with physical disabilities, visual and sensory impairments, mild learning disabilities and frail elderly residents. This role also includes the management oversight of a small 2-bed supported living service, making it an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who can oversee multiple services while maintaining high-quality, person-centred care. About the Role As Service Manager, you will: Provide strong, visible leadership across both services Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies Lead, motivate and develop staff teams to deliver outstanding care Oversee care planning, risk assessments and person-centred support Manage safeguarding, incident reporting and quality assurance processes Maintain occupancy levels and build positive relationships with families and professionals Take responsibility for budgeting, resource management and financial performance Drive continuous improvement and maintain high service standards About You We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience as a Registered Manager or Service Manager within residential or supported living services Has experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, learning disabilities or elderly care needs Holds (or is working towards) NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Has strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements Is confident in managing budgets, rotas and staffing Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills Is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care What We Offer Competitive salary of £53,000 - £56,000 per annum 40 hours per week Supportive senior management structure Opportunity to lead a well-established, purpose-built service Career progression and professional development opportunities If you are a driven and compassionate leader ready to make a meaningful difference, we would love to hear from you.
