What you will do
Install, service, test, and commission Fire Suppression systems to relevant standards and provide the highest level of customer service by maximizing resources and being sensitive to costs and budgets. Fabricate, install, and repair Fire Suppression system pipework and components. Attend callouts as needed to meet customer demands and internal schedules.
How you will do it
Provide excellent customer service to meet the expectations of both internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships.
Fabricate, test, and install appropriate pipework/systems; dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by the customer or Xcell Misting.
Work safely to prevent injuries and property damage, and clean up installation/service debris and waste accurately.
Install, test, and repair systems in accordance with relevant standards.
Follow fabrication drawings/instructions for installation.
Report and document any changes, deficiencies, or deviations in systems.
Complete engineer work reports, handover certificates, pressure test certificates, or checklists accurately.
What we look for
Experience in a customer-facing environment.
Proven track record of achievement.
Experience with Fire Suppression equipment or Fire Sprinkler Systems, including HP/LP Water Mist, Inergen Gas, or ANSUL Suppression Systems, preferably through recognized apprenticeship or similar qualification.
Full UK driving license.
Ability to lift, carry, and climb ladders; work at heights; and handle equipment such as pipework, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Proficiency with power tools for system repair and dismantling.
Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight at sites to complete work.
