About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join a specialist provision within a Cornwall-based school. This role involves working closely with students who have additional needs and may display complex or challenging behaviour. You will be part of a supportive team committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

What the Role Will Consist Of
* Providing tailored support to students within a specialist Area Resource Base (ARB).
* Assisting with academic and social development, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
* Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement individual learning plans.
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
* Supporting students in accessing the curriculum and developing life skills.

What We Are Looking For
* A patient, caring, and resilient individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
* Commitment to inclusion, excellence, and achieving the best outcomes for every student.
* Previous experience in SEN support is desirable but not essential – training will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
