Join the Environment Agency for a 12‑month industry placement starting in September 2026. This placement offers hands‑on experience in Regulated Industry teams, supporting UK businesses to reduce environmental impacts and improve process safety.

Experience & Skills Required
We seek candidates with a genuine interest in the environment and a passion for creating a better place for people and wildlife. Curiosity, flexibility and determination are key.
* Studying (or having studied) a Chemical or Process Engineering degree accredited by IChemE.

Experience from volunteering, sports or clubs is also valued.
Eligibility Criteria
* UK, Commonwealth or EEA national with the right to work in the UK.
* Enrolled in an undergraduate degree, an integrated master’s programme, or have graduated within the last year (from June 2025 onwards).
