Work towards a L4 Quantity Surveying qualification whilst working with a leading contractor on a redevelopment site, assisting with the implementation of all commercial aspects of the project & working closely with the site team, involved with cost control, selection of contractors, dispute mitigation & recording income, expenditures & valuations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to learn about the commercial side of construction. The qualification will also include elements of:

* Law and planning procedures, Construction Technology: Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects

* Procurement: Assist in the selection of and negotiation with specialist contractors for a construction project.
* Cost control: Assist in the measurement and costing of construction works during a project.
* Financial reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, cash flow and cost forecasts for a construction project.
* Administration: Assist in the collection, collation and storage of relevant data and its analysis.
Training schedule The apprentice will work towards a Level 4 Quantity Surveyor Technician qualification receiving off the job training on a regular basis by means of remote sessions.
Training & Apprenticeships in Construction Ltd (TrAC) is a DfE approved Flexi Job Apprenticeship Agency who will employ you for the duration of the apprenticeship and pay your salary. You should be aware that you will be placed with a host employer but you will not be employed by them. Your placement may change during the course of your apprenticeship but TrAC will employ you throughout, as well as continuing to support you into employment or further learning at the end of your apprenticeship.
