Working in either the Distribution, Goods In or Site Transfer sub team
The successful candidate will:
* Assemble and check transfer orders internal customers in a timely manner
* Operating forklift trucks in a safe and timely manner to support all site activities
* Receiving deliveries, checking condition and accurately completing the necessary paperwork and Unity operations
* Managing rack locations to ensure efficient use of space, recording all movements on Unity
* Reporting and recording stock movement and discrepancies
* Handling/ manufacturing products and raw materials by complying with the information within the MSDS's, risk and COSHH assessments
* Pick and pack sales orders for dispatch to internal or external customers in a timely manner:
* taking into consideration customer specific rules
* comply fully with legal guidance on packaging and labelling requirements
* Goods-out management:
* Vehicle checks
* Checking of driver's ADR licensing
* Ensuring all despatch documentation is provided (Invoices, packing lists, DG notes etc.)
* Goods-in control of supplier deliveries:
* Vehicle checks
* Documentation checks
* Physical check of goods before accepting deliveries
* Completion of driver documentation
* Goods in sampling according to specific delivery requirements
* Re-labelling of all materials with LH CLP labels
Knowledge & Skills required:
* Numerate and literate
* Basic knowledge of food hygiene
* Ability to use a computerized stock management system
* Forklift truck driver (counterbalance & reach truck)
* Previous experience of working in a warehousing environment, preferably in food or pharmaceutical industry
* Good communication skills
* Attention to detail & high accuracy of work

Please note shortlisted candidates invited to attend a first stage interview will be required to complete an additional application form. Candidates invited to a second stage interview will be required undertake a security interview to comply with the Company's Known Consignor Status.
Successful candidates will be required to complete IATA training within first 6 months of employment paid for by the Company.
