Overview

Version 1 is expanding in Delivery Management and seeks an experienced Delivery Manager to drive critical digital transformation delivery for a key public sector customer. Version 1 is a digital-first consultancy and services provider focused on growth across Digital, Data and Cloud practices.


Responsibilities

* Actively establishing, building and maturing relationships with new customers.
* Delivering effectiveness and creating new opportunities.
* Drive Agile or Hybrid projects forward on time, to budget and best quality.
* Stakeholder engagement and management.
* Championing and improving client ways of working.
* Standard Delivery Manager duties including project scope, financial management, detailed project work-plan, RAID analysis, governance, documentation and risk management.
* Applying critical thinking under pressure.
* Lead delivery in one or two workstreams, adapting your agile approach to suit the team and client needs.
* Focused on successful execution of projects, maintaining a delivery mindset for continuous planning and management of project problems and risks; ensuring the team is on track and mitigating issues before they impact delivery.
* Be a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and translating needs into feasible delivery plans.
* Support team culture, performance, and health, helping individuals and teams operate at their peak and improve ways-of-working.


Qualifications

* Security Clearance eligible
* Consulting mindset or experience in consulting
* Demonstrable experience in managing and leading project teams
* Technical delivery project management experience across technologies
* Experience delivering Software Development, Data or Cloud Migration projects
* Knowledge of Cloud technologies
* Hands-on experience delivering Agile projects
* Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
* Agile expertise
* Relationship building
* Planning and project execution
* Leadership and adaptability
* Commercial acumen
