Job Description:
We aim to reinvigorate our presence on our confectionery branded social media channels to enhance relevance and engagement with consumers. We are seeking a talented, specialist Social Media Lead to join our team.
What are we looking for?
* Extensive experience in a relevant marketing role focusing on content and social media development and execution.
* Ability to analyze data and trends to derive insights and develop strategies.
* Experience in managing multiple social brands within an organization.
* Expertise in social brand building, including developing brand identity and tone of voice, with creative translation skills.
* Strong relationship-building skills across internal departments and external partners, managing complex stakeholder networks.
* Comfort with ambiguity and navigating complex, changing environments within a global organization.
* Proven experience managing agency partners.
* Copywriting experience; developing low-fidelity content is a plus but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead social media excellence in the UK market, managing social campaigns, reactive content, and influencer collaborations. Develop content calendars across platforms, utilizing regional tools and key calendar opportunities.
* Use appropriate tools to measure social performance, define KPIs, and translate data into actionable insights to optimize content and drive business outcomes.
* Identify emerging social media trends and technologies, recommending innovative strategies to enhance brand presence.
* Act as a social brand guardian for Mars, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines, legal, health, and marketing restrictions, and promoting these standards internally and externally.
