MOT Tester or Technician / MOT Tester Required in Horsham, West Sussex
1. Salary: £35,000 Basic for MOT Testers or up to £38,000 - £40,000 for Experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Testers depending on experience
2. Hours: 8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday (No Weekends)
Our client’s family-run car garage in Horsham is looking to add a qualified MOT Tester to their team, and they are also open to experienced Vehicle Technicians who either hold or are working toward an MOT licence. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional yet relaxed setting with a close family run team.
Key Responsibilities as a MOT Technician:
3. Conducting MOT tests to ensure vehicles meet all safety and compliance standards.
4. Diagnosing and repairing issues identified during the MOT or service process, with clear communication to customers.
5. Maintaining a clean, organised workspace and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
6. Using advanced diagnostic equipment and collaborating closely with a team of skilled technicians.
7. Vehicle Mechanic work; servicing and mot repairs (if applying as a Technician / Tester)
Requirements as a MOT Technician:
8. A valid MOT testing licence or experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician with the goal of obtaining an MOT licence.
9. Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
10. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
11. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
