We are always looking for the best people to join our growing and successful business, and currently we wish to appoint additional Area Sales Representatives to take responsibility of developing and growing the sales of our Personal Protective Equipment, Work Wear, Workplace Safety and Janitorial product range, into SME's throughout the South Wales region (Swansea to Newport). The role will involve contacting and visiting existing, lapsed and potential new client accounts to promote our full range of Personal Protective Equipment, Work Wear and Workplace Safety Products. The ideal candidate would be a self‑motivated, proactive and target‑driven field‑based sales professional with a clear and proven track record in prospecting new customers and developing the growth of existing customers.
Responsibilities
* Work with new and existing customers as a trusted advisor with a commitment to safety and protecting people.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing client relationships, and promote our comprehensive range of PPE, workwear, and safety services.
* Conduct face‑to‑face visits with potential and existing customers to understand their requirements.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
* Generate quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales effectively.
* Manage customer accounts proactively, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
* Holder of the NEBOSH General Certificate and deep understanding of PPE standards and regulations (BS EN standards, COMAH requirements, industry‑specific compliance).
* Aware of the actual working environments our clients operate in.
* Product knowledge that goes beyond catalogue specs to understanding real‑world application and performance.
* Ability to build trust with safety managers, procurement teams, and operational staff who rely on our products for their lives.
* Consultative approach to selling – solving safety problems rather than simply selling stock.
* Excellent time management to cover the geographical territory efficiently.
* Adaptability to work with different organisational cultures, from multinational corporations to local contractors.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: £30,000.00 – £50,000.00 based on experience. The role comes with a Company Car, IT, Telephone, Pension and an uncapped Commission Bonus Scheme.
