Salary: Competitive, based on experience + pension

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday

This new position has been created as a result of taking on new work and supporting additional clients. It is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team at a time of growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide second-line support for IT infrastructure and user applications.
* Install and configure on-site routers, basic firewalls, and SSL VPN solutions.
* Set up and troubleshoot remote backup systems, NAS systems, and UPS hardware.
* Deploy and monitor network switches, server alerts, Office 365 migrations and management, SharePoint, Active Directory (on-premises and Azure AD), Intune, Wi-Fi infrastructure, DNS, and IP phone systems.
* Write detailed technical procedures and handle deployment monitoring.
* Support PCs and servers (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012–2022) remotely and on-site.
* Install business computer systems, set up email accounts, and manage DNS configurations.
* Act as a technical lead, helping shape clients' long-term IT strategies, and working across diverse sectors.
* Handle inbound support calls and make outbound client calls as required.
* Work closely with colleagues to deliver seamless, professional client service.

Essential Skills & Experience

* At least two years' experience in a similar 2nd Line or technical support role.
* Excellent telephone manner with the ability to answer calls and speak confidently to clients.
* Strong written communication skills for documentation and client correspondence.
* Strong teamworking ability, collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
* Solid diagnostic and IT problem-solving capabilities across a broad technology stack.
* Well-organised, responsible, and capable of structured and intelligent task management.
* Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Add-Ons

* Familiarity with ticketing system use and time logging.
