This Sales Administrator role is perfect for someone with experience in an office environment who enjoys handling a mix of tasks from managing order processing to responding to customer queries. If you're someone who thrives on being organised and proactive, and you enjoy seeing your efforts translate into excellent customer experiences, then this could be the ideal position for you.As a Sales Administrator, your day-to-day will include answering phone and email enquiries, inputting data into the CRM system, booking deliveries, updating product information and supporting the account management team. You’ll be at the centre of communication between sales, operations, and customers – helping ensure everything flows efficiently and nothing gets missed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to telephone and email enquiries regarding stock and technical questions
* Process and manage orders, working with Operations and Trading teams to meet deadlines
* Book customer deliveries and ensure accurate data entry on internal systems
* Maintain and update product information, including pricing and new product setups
* Liaise daily with Account Managers to support account needs
* Track special orders and own-brand products, ensuring stock availability with the merchandising team
* Participate in weekly merchandise planning meetings
* Resolve customer delivery and invoice queries and monitor delivery timelines
* Raise and check invoices for accuracy
* Keep internal spreadsheets and records up to date
* Support general administrative duties as required
What You'll Bring:
* Previous experience in administration, preferably in a sales or customer service setting
* Confident using Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Ideally, experience with Microsoft Dynamics (though not essential)
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Strong organisation and attention to detail
* A flexible, self-motivated approach with a positive attitude
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
