About the role
Thrive Group are seeking a dedicated and experienced new business sales professional from the powered access hire industry to work for our client based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire on a permanent basis.
* Responsible for promoting the companies services and benefits to the customer and maximising sales through face to face visits and cold calling
* Manage an existing customer portfolio and target new business in accordance with depot targets
* Work with the Depot Manager to retain and manage all customers and sites within an agreed sales area
* Achieve revenue growth against depot budget and reactivate any dormant accounts
* Carry out site surveys as required aiding the customer in selecting the appropriate machine for the task
* Build effective customer relationships, exceed customer service and expectations
* Work to targets and exceed current sales figures
* You will be responsible for generating new business within the Yorkshire and North East areas of England
Skills Required
* Be able to demonstrate a successful track record in new business in the rental sector
* Be able to demonstrate a previous background in new business sales in the powered access hire industry for equipment to work at height
* Experience of selling into the construction and domestic sectors
* Excellent customer service skills both face-to-face as well as over the phone
* Full UK Driving licence category B
