FINANCE MANAGER
Robert half are the retained recruitment partner to an established and diverse automotive group, that due to continued success is now seeking to recruit a finance manager. This role reports directly to the Managing director, and has responsibility for a small team on site at the corporate head office in Heathrow. This is an excellent opportunity to take full ownership for the financials of a complex business with a vast asset base and group structure.
Duties:
* Preparation of full monthly management accounts
* Manage monthly payroll (outsourced)
* Preparation of annual budgets
* Review of actual results to budget and reporting as necessary to divisional management.
* Customer billing
* Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines
* Management reporting as directed by the CEO.
* Keep up to date with changes in regulations/accounting practices and successfully implement appropriate new initiatives
* Preparation of year end statutory accounts and tax returns (in partnership with their auditors)
* Manage relationship with external auditors within designated subsidiaries
* Manage the relationship with our banks
* Management of a team of four accounts staff
* Establish positive relationships with clients and colleagues

* A highly competitive base salary of between £50,000 & £65,000 p/a based on the candidate's experience
