Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Spa Receptionist to join our welcoming team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a tranquil environment, assisting clients with bookings and enquiries while maintaining organisational excellence. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele. This role is 5 days a week on a rota basis, weekends/ Bank Holidays included

Duties

* Greet clients warmly upon arrival and manage their check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
* Schedule appointments accurately using our booking system, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources.
* Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information about services and promotions.
* Upsell additional treatments or products to maximise client satisfaction and revenue.
* Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, ensuring all promotional materials are well-presented.
* Process payments securely and handle basic cash or card transactions with accuracy.
* Manage client records confidentially, updating details as needed.
* Assist with merchandising of retail products to enhance sales opportunities.
* Coordinate with therapists and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Serving of food and Beverages in our lounge/Restaurant
* ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the spa during shift

Skills

* Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette.
* Organised with effective time management skills to handle multiple appointments simultaneously.
* Basic maths skills for processing payments and managing stock levels.
* Strong organisational skills to maintain an efficient reception area and manage schedules.
* Ability to upsell treatments or products tactfully to enhance client experience.
* Good interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism and friendliness at all times.
* Experience in merchandising or retail sales is a plus but not essential. This role offers an engaging environment where organisational skills and customer service excellence are valued highly. The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable, and committed to delivering outstanding service in a tranquil spa setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
