Title: Audit & Accounts Senior

Salary: £33,000 - £38,000
We are recruiting on behalf of multi award winning, National Accountancy Practice within their York office.
Responsibilities:
•Preparation of financial statements using FRS105, FRS102, FRS102 section 1a, and group accounts.
•Assist in planning, conducting fieldwork, and completing audits using an electronic audit file system, under the guidance of a manager/partner.
•Supervise and develop junior staff, including delegation and review of their work.
•Conduct some on-site audits, predominantly working from the York office.
•Manage a diverse client portfolio encompassing various industries and company sizes, primarily SMEs with some non-small/complex businesses.
•Establish and nurture relationships with clients and their personnel.
•Prepare draft Corporation tax computations.
•Perform other ad hoc duties as directed by a manager.
Requirements:
•Several years of experience in an accountancy practice, with a focus on audit assignments including planning and finalization.
•ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified working towards full qualification.
•Proficient in IT skills, particularly Excel and Word; familiarity with popular accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
