Multi-Skilled Construction Operative – Swimming Pool Installations
We are looking for a reliable Multi-Skilled Construction Operative to join our swimming pool installation team. Pool experience is not essential — we are looking for someone with general building or construction experience and transferable skills who is keen to learn a specialist trade.
You will work alongside experienced engineers and installers, receiving full on-site training and support until you are fully competent in the role.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a construction background who wants to develop new skills within a specialist and growing sector of the leisure construction industry.
The Role
The successful candidate will assist with the installation of swimming pools and associated construction works. Duties may include:
* Groundworks and site preparation
* Base preparation and concreting
* Assisting with installation of pool structures and equipment
* Working alongside engineers and senior installers
* General construction and site duties
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
You will initially work closely with our experienced team while learning the specialist skills required for pool construction.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has general construction or building experience
* Has transferable skills such as groundwork, concreting, brickwork, landscaping, or general building
* Is reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
* Works well as part of a team
* Has good practical problem-solving skills
* Holds a full UK driving licence (preferred)
Previous experience in swimming pool construction is not required, as full training will be provided.
The following experience would be beneficial but is not essential:
* Concrete work and base preparation
* Operating a digger / excavator (licence preferred)
* Laying patio flags or paving
* General knowledge of groundworks and site preparation
