Overview
We are excited to be able to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Psychologist to work within our four adult acute inpatient mental health wards at Silverwood, St Peters Hospital Campus, Chertsey.
The role offers the privilege of working with people at their time of greatest mental health need. Our Assistant Psychologists enjoy the benefit of a high clinical weighting to the role; with a large emphasis on delivering our bespoke Psychological group program, individual Psychological interventions, and Positive Behaviour Support.
Responsibilities
* To facilitate Psychology groups as part of the bespoke Intensive Support Programme.
* To support and enhance the professional psychological care of people who use our services by providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions, under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist working within the service, and by working independently according to a plan agreed with the team leader and the supervising psychologist.
* To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of outcome statistics, and/or other project work as appropriate and agreed with the team leader and supervising psychologist.
