Job Title: EV Construction Coordinator

Role Overview
Our client, a leading Charge Point Operator (CPO), is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented EV Construction Coordinator to play a critical role in the delivery of EV charging infrastructure. This position is key to ensuring the smooth coordination of power-to-site activities by managing stakeholders such as Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs), Independent Connection Providers (ICPs), energy consultants, and internal teams. The successful candidate will drive progress across technical, legal, and operational areas to ensure timely and cost-effective energisation of EV charging sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Power-to-Site Coordination
* Liaise with IDNOs, ICPs, and energy consultants to secure High Voltage (HV) Points of Connection (POCs).
* Act as the central conduit for information flow between internal departments and external partners.
* Review, verify, and manage all key documentation related to power connections.
* Maintain a structured and updated pipeline of accepted POCs and energisation components.
2. Technical & Legal Coordination
* Coordinate soil resistivity testing and HV earthing designs.
* Manage harmonic assessments and facilitate data submissions to IDNO/DNO.
* Collaborate with estate surveyors on the timely completion of wayleaves, easements, and substation lease agreements.
* Attend legal and architectural meetings, taking minutes and tracking follow-up actions.
3. Project & Contractor Management
* Schedule ICP appointments and oversee the administration of asset adoption agreements.
* Manage electricity connection and metering installation processes.
* Lead weekly project review meetings with ICPs; document outcomes and ensure follow-through on actions.
* Prepare and issue quote requests for ICP and earthing works.
* Coordinate the delivery of site handover documentation to Project Managers.
4. Reporting & Administration
* Maintain and update internal project schedules and executive-level reports.
* Monitor project spend against budget, ensuring financial accuracy and control.
* Administer contractor payments in coordination with the finance team.
* Track design changes and distribute updated documentation to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the power procurement team to support accurate forecasting of upcoming projects.
Desired Experience
* Previous experience working with or within an ICP, IDNO, DNO, or CPO (highly desirable).
* Proven ability to manage complex, high-volume project workstreams.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office applications.

* Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
