An exciting opportunity has arisen with Florence Ward, in Lambeth Hospital, as a ward administrator.
Florence Ward is a fifteen-bed all-female ward, and Luther King Ward is an eighteen-bed all-male ward. Both wards embrace a recovery approach in delivering high-quality acute inpatient care.
We are currently looking for a positive, proactive, experienced ward administrator to join our team on Florence Ward.
Florence Ward is a 15-bed female acute ward, situated in Lambeth Hospital. The ward is spacious and well laid out to promote patient safety and positive interactions between staff and patients. It adopts a recovery approach to delivering high-quality inpatient care.
The multidisciplinary team is dynamic and diverse, including RMNs, CSWs, an OT, doctors, and an experienced consultant, all working closely to support patients on their recovery journey. Patients also have access to psychology and art therapy while on the ward.
We are looking for a ward administrator with excellent organisation and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive, assertive, adaptable attitude. The ideal candidate will work well within a team and be passionate about providing high-quality service. We value a good attitude, efficiency, system skills, and motivation to make a difference.
The key areas of responsibilities include:
* Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support
* Supporting the senior administrator and office manager
* Attending and taking minutes at team meetings
* Report typing, booking appointments, and being the point of contact for families and other professionals
