We have an exciting opportunity for a colleague to step into the role of Senior Payroll Co-Ordinator within our Payroll team in Leicester. In this key role, you'll work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing across several trustee companies, whilst supporting and coaching junior members of the team.
What we're looking for:
* minimum 2 years' experience in a similar payroll role within a multi-payroll or complex environment
* good understanding of UK statutory payroll requirements: PAYE, National Insurance, SSP/SMP, auto-enrolment pensions, and RTI reporting to HMRC
* strong numerical, organisational, and communication skills
* ability to work accurately with detailed information and manage competing priorities
* proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with payroll systems such as Workday
* clear communication skills, both oral and written
* Certificate/Diploma in Payroll or working towards a qualification (desirable)
