Graduate Engineering Geologist – Coventry, UK
Ian Farmer Associates, part of RSK Group, is expanding its Engineering team in Coventry, UK. We are looking for a full‑time, permanent Graduate Engineering Geologist to support a projected increase in workload.
Responsibilities
* Supervision of ground investigation crews, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews
* Trial pitting
* Logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
* Groundwater and gas monitoring
* Assistance in the preparation of factual and interpretive reports
Person Specification
* Geology / Earth Sciences degree, or a Master’s degree in Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering
* Ability to work both within a team and individually
* Good time keeping
* Good communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel and work away from home
* Residing within a reasonable travelling distance of the office base, or willingness to relocate
* CSCS Card and First Aid training
