Responsibilities
* Provide remote technical support to proactively diagnose and resolve fire-related maintenance issues, ensuring timely and permanent solutions.
* Act as first-line support for the Fire Technical Manager and field teams.
* Play an active role in the national fire risk assessment project, driving compliance and safety.
* Use available systems to identify trends and opportunities that improve maintenance operations.
* Collaborate with colleagues across functions to optimize resource allocation and dispatch programs, building strong relationships and managing expectations effectively.
* Develop and implement formal incident and investigation methodologies to strengthen our ways of working.
* Conduct site visits as required to support technical needs and ensure standards are met.
* Maintain a safe environment for colleagues and customers in all stores and offices.
* Ensure all assets are repaired within agreed timeframes to minimize disruption.

* 5 years' experience within a relevant industry provider in a related engineering role
* Fire background of installing/maintaining fire equipment and alarm systems
* Proven experience in servicing and maintaining fire detection and suppression systems
* Knowledge of fire safety standards and regulations (BS 5839, BS 5306, BS EN 54, BS 9997)
* FIA (Fire Industry Association) training or equivalent
* Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
* Full UK driving license
