Primary Teaching Assistant - BuryLocation: Bury, Greater ManchesterStart Date: After Easter 2026Pay: £90-£110 per day (dependent on experience)Contract: Full time | Term time onlyWe are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Bury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.The successful candidate must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have previous experience working within UK primary schools.Key responsibilities: Supporting the class teacher with daily learning activities Delivering small group interventions Providing 1:1 pupil support where required Supporting pupils with SEN needs Assisting with classroom preparation and resources Supporting positive behaviour management strategies Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed Essential requirements: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential) Previous UK primary school experience (essential) Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Good understanding of safeguarding Strong communication skills Right to work in the UK Desirable: SEN experience Phonics programme knowledge Behaviour support experience What we offer: Competitive daily rates Supportive school environment Opportunity for long-term placement Professional development opportunitiesApply nowIf you meet the above criteria and are available to start after Easter, we would like to hear from you.Please apply today by submitting your CV to Natalie at Aspire People.
