About the role Title – Security officer Pay Rate –£13.10 Location – Broxburn Shift Timings – Full time,42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off Night shifts Drivers License and vehicle is required! You will be working as a Security officer in a high-profile manufacturing site with subsequent high demands on a consistently high level of service delivery in a very demanding and dynamic environment. For this role, you will be required to secure the premises and ensure all personnel are safe. The right candidate must be confident in their ability to lead and provide security support. Your main responsibilities may include: Patrolling the site premises. Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the site. Confidently calling for help in emergency situations. Drivers License and Vehicle due to travelling to different sites Check for any hazards or potential hazards Effectively working the barriers and completing pass checks as well as building positive relations with visitors and staff. To succeed in this role, you will need the following: SIA License is essential. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Basic knowledge of computers. 5-year checkable work/career history. Physically fit to undertake given tasks. Possess the ability to work under pressure, prioritising workload and remaining well organised. Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service. Good customer service skills The ability to work well as a team, or individually.
