Senior or Principal Environmental Manager
with a construction-based background to spearhead a flagship CCS project in
North Wales

The Role
We're looking for a driven professional with a construction or infrastructure background who is:
* Comfortable being on-site weekly, managing dynamic project environments.
* Managing and building successful client and stakeholder relationships.
* Capable of leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating across sectors.
* Eager to develop project management expertise, with support to upskill rapidly in this area.
Geographic Scope
You'll be based in the North West, covering a project patch that includes
Lancashire, Cheshire, Flintshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire
, and
West Yorkshire
. While you won't be working across all these regions at once, these are potential locations for future projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Carbon Capture Leadership: Take the reins on a major CCS project in North Wales—driving technical delivery, compliance, and innovation in one of the UK's most exciting low-carbon initiatives.
* Renewables Transformation: Contribute to a portfolio of renewable and sustainable energy projects across the UK.
* Client Management: Maintain and develop strong client relationships, ensuring RSK is the trusted partner of choice.
* Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure delivery excellence.
* Tender & Proposal Oversight: Lead strategic bids and tenders, working across business units to secure future opportunities.
What You Bring
* Chartered (or working toward chartered) status with robust experience in environmental or infrastructure consultancy.
* Solid technical foundation in environmental policy, legislation, and SHEQ practices.
* Confidence in project and financial management with a track record of profitability and stakeholder satisfaction.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
